Lynne A. Burkart

Lynne A. Burkart, CPA, CIA, CFSA, CRMA, CGMA, CFE, is a Director in the P&N Accounting and Assurance Services Group. With over 25 years of public accounting experience, Lynne has focused her career on serving companies in a variety of industries, including energy, financial institutions/finance, insurance, construction/industrial, real estate, and manufacturing and distribution companies.

Lynne has extensive experience in providing external audits and other attest services, such as delivering system and organization control (SOC) examinations, agreed upon procedures, reviews and other similar services. Lynne’s experience includes family-owned businesses, middle market companies and diverse/multi-entity companies as well as privately-held and publicly traded organizations. Many of Lynne’s clients work with private equity firms. Lynne’s experiences include assisting clients with acquisition, merger and divestiture transactions, technical narratives, adoption of new accounting standards, IPO readiness, international transactions, SOX/404 internal control services, internal audits, risk assessments, providing SOC readiness services, assisting with ESG reporting/testing, and other similar services. Lynne also received the AICPA's Certificate of Educational Achievement in IFRS. Prior to joining the firm, she was a senior manager with a Big Four firm, providing external audit and internal audit services. Lynne also has presented at various professional and internal training seminars.
