Postlethwaite & Netterville, APAC (P&N), a leading CPA and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Dan Gardiner, CPA, CGMA, has transitioned into the role of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective May 1, 2018.

“Last year, P&N announced the transition of our CEO position through a formal, structured process. Bill Balhoff has been our CEO for the past decade, during which time our firm has experienced tremendous growth. I’m very honored to serve as the fifth managing director of one of the top 100 accounting and consulting firms in the country, and am looking forward to building upon the strong foundation of quality client services that P&N offers,” says Dan Gardiner.

Bill Balhoff, who joined P&N in 1976, will remain in a leadership position within the firm.

About Dan Gardiner

Dan Gardiner, CPA, CGMA, was a member of the Postlethwaite & Netterville Assurance Services Group from 1995-2000. After an eight-year hiatus from the firm, where he worked for a regional consumer packaged goods and distribution company as a Corporate Controller and a publicly traded international leasing company as a Financial Reporting Manager, he rejoined P&N in 2008 as a member of the Consulting Services Group. He was promoted to Director in 2011, and currently leads the P&N Tax Services Group. In addition to his professional experience, Dan is actively involved in the profession and the community, including his roles as the President of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the LCPA, Finance Committee Chair and former Trustee for St. Aloysius Parish, Finance Committee member of the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement, and former Board Member of City Year of Baton Rouge and Louisiana School for the Deaf Foundation. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Dan and his wife Shawna have three daughters.
