Join P&N's Paul Douglas, CISA, CCSFP and The University of Texas at Austin's Chief Audit Executive Sandy Jansen, CIA, CCSA, CRMA for "Webinar: Improving IT Culture in Higher Education as a Trusted Advisor." The IT-risk universe is growing and becoming increasingly complex for all organizations, including institutions of higher learning. 

Participants will learn one university's story and the internal audit team's approach to driving change through the IT audit and advisory services they provide. Team members will share how key projects at The University of Texas at Austin are changing the IT landscape and culture. Topics of discussion will include IT standards and strategy, data governance, online education technology, privacy concerns, and other co-sourced audit arrangements. 

Learning Objectives

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Evaluate current IT Audit trends, challenges, and opportunities in higher education.
• Understand significant IT audits and risk assessments to undertake to drive value and manage risk for the college/university.
• Design engagements and advisory services to address IT audit issues and move the campus forward.
